Need help? If you’re wondering what you can do on the new site, take a short Tour. If you have a specific question, check out our Frequently Asked Questions below.
If you still need assistance, submit your comment or help request and we’ll do our best to get you an answer.
I forgot my password and/or my username. How can I retrieve it?
If you forgot your password, click on the “Forgot your password?” link below the sign in area. Enter the email address you are registered under, and we’ll email you a new password.
If you forgot your username, please send an email to support@uclick.com letting us know. We’ll get back to you as soon as possible with your username.
How do I change the email address to which my comics are delivered?
To change the address the emails are sent to, go to www.mycomicspage.com and log in using your username and password. Then, click on "My Profile" at the top of the page, then click on "Edit Profile." On the next page, scroll down a bit until you see "Change your email address." Enter the new address, and click "Save Changes."
Some of my comics don't seem to be updating, especially the editorials. What's up with that?
Not all of the comics update on a daily basis. If you’re a Pro member and you have the comics sent to your email, you’ll notice “comics not updated” at the top of your page. We often receive editorial cartoons from the creators AFTER your emails have already gone out for the day. In that case, we’ll send you the updated cartoon in the next day’s email.
How can I add or remove comics from my subscription?
To change the selection of comics for your page, first log into www.mycomicspage.com with your username and password. Once your dashboard loads, look on the left side of the screen under "My Comics Pages." Click on the small "pencil" to the right, and you will be taken to an edit screen. To add comics to your list, click on the green circle next to the comic(s) you want to add. To remove comics, look on the list to the left, and click on the red circle to remove a comic.
I'm not receiving the comics in my email. Why not?
First, you’ll want to check that email delivery is enabled for your page. To do that, log into www.mycomicspage.com with your username and password. On the next page, look on the left side of the screen under "My Comics Pages." Click on the small "pencil" to the right, and you will be taken to an edit screen. Make sure the “Email me any new comics daily” box is checked. If it’s not, check the box, then click “Save Changes.”
If the box is checked and you’re still not getting your comics, check any bulk mail folders or spam filters to see if they might be interfering with the emails. If you don't find anything on those, check any "blocked email" lists and make sure that comics@mycomicspage.com has not been inadvertently added. Also, please add this same address to your email address book.
GoComics.com looks different. What’s going on?
We’ve redesigned GoComics.com around the idea of a comics community. The new site is more streamlined and offers not only comics, but also the opportunity for interaction between fans and their comics, as well as the chance for fans to connect with other fans. With the new tagging, collecting, commenting and sharing features, fans can do more on our site than they ever could before.
What happened to My Comics Page?
My Comics Page joined forces with GoComics to create the new GoComics Pro service. GoComics Pro offers all of the features of My Comics Page – unlimited archives and collections, email delivery, and most importantly, NO ADS – along with all of the comics community features of the new GoComics.com, like tagging, commenting and collection sharing. My Comics Page users can log into their Pro account with the same username and password they’ve always used.
What is tagging and how does it work?
Tagging makes it easy to find comics that relate to particular subjects. A tag is simply a label that describes some aspect of the comic. Click on the “Tags” header to find an alphabetical list of tags, or type a word or phrase in the search bar at the bottom of the page. You’ll be taken to a page listing every comic that has been tagged with that particular word or phrase.
To tag a comic, click the “Tag” link to the right or below a comic and enter a word or series of words that is relevant to that particular strip. The list could include the names of characters in the strip, important words or phrases in the dialogue, objects, actions, emotions – it’s really limitless. Just keep in mind that your tags will be visible to all users on GoComics.com. They will also be listed in the “My Tags” section of your dashboard page so you can search comics by just the tags you’ve created.
To edit or delete a tag, click the “Tag” link and make your changes, then click “Submit.”
What is commenting and how does it work?
Comments can be private notes to yourself about a comic like why you’ve saved it in a collection, or comments can be posted for the whole community to see. All registered GoComics users can make comments and have the option of making each comment public or private.
To make a comment, click the “Comment” link to the right or below a comic and enter your comment in the field provided. To make your comment private, check the box to the right of the comment field before clicking “Post a comment.” All public comments are visible directly below the strip on the strip’s public page. Your private comments are visible below the strip in your personal collection. Note: Your private comments within a collection become public when you choose to share the collection.
To edit or delete your comment, click the “Comment” link to the right of the comic and make your changes, then click “Submit.”
Why can’t I see some of the older comics in my collection?
Free users can view the comics in their collections until the comics are 30 days old. At that point, if you would like to continue to have access to your older strips, sign up for a GoComics Pro account. Besides unlimited access to the GoComics archives, as a GoComics Pro user you also get email delivery, single-page viewing and NO ADS. Plus, your annual membership fee helps support the cartoonists whose work you’re enjoying on our site.
